International Women's Day (IWD) is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women.

Every year March 8th is celebrated as International Woman's Day, across the world to promote women's rights and honour their achievements across the political, economical, social and cultural spheres. The origin of International women's Day can be traced back to the many socialist movement witnessed in the early 20th century.

The program is named "break the bias" and is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nithya Udayan (first year English student) welcomed us to the program and the program was integrated by our principal Dr. Meera Raj ma'am. She motivated the gathering with her inspirational and energetic talk. Pooja J. P( 1st year English student) felicitated the programme.

While considering the first-year teacher training students. Our team (Jasmine group) Performed a theme dance likeMalalaand remembered latest that woman personalities like in Jhansi Rani, Malala Yousafzsai, Sarojini Naidu and Madhavikutty.

The first performance was given by team sunflower. It was an awesome theme dance. The dance remind us of the diversity of roles, performed by Modern Woman from housekeeping to piloting aircraft.

The team Rose took time to think and reflect on the journey that is still ahead of us in the pursuit of global equality and creates a stage for the growth and development of women in society as well as in culture.

While team Daisy gave a memorable performance against women abuse. The mime was so energetic and the message shattered an important message in the minds of students.

There was a mesmerising musical drama by team Lotus. The dance form created a world of excitement and fear. They showed the message a woman's capacity to conquer the worldly fences.
